What is LICPerks?

LICPerks is a free seasonal perks program powered by the Long Island City Partnership that gives you access to exclusive discounts and special experiences at local businesses throughout Long Island City. All you need is the LIC Passport and a few minutes to participate!

How do I join?

Step 1: Sign up online for your LIC Passport – it’s quick and free.

Step 2: Visit participating businesses and scan the LICPerks QR code to check in and unlock your perk (you can also sign up at businesses).

What kinds of perks can I get?

LICPerks offers exclusive deals at local businesses throughout Long Island City—including discounts on food, drinks, shopping, fitness, and services, plus free gifts and welcome bundles. Perks are updated seasonally, so be sure to use them while they’re active and explore the neighborhood to the fullest!

Do I need to download an app?

Nope! LICPerks works entirely through your phone’s web browser. Just use your phone to scan QR codes and check in.

Do I have to redeem the perk right away?

Yes. Once you scan the QR code at a business and check in, your perk is active for 2 hours. Be sure to show your screen to staff during that window to redeem it.

What if I forget to scan the QR code?

To make sure the program works smoothly, staff at participating businesses will ask to see that you’ve checked in before honoring the Perk. Just show them your screen after scanning the LICPerks QR code. The check-in process is important so we can track engagement and keep the program growing. Make it a habit—scan first, then enjoy!

Can I use the same perk more than once?

Perks are one-time use per season. Check the perk details for any restrictions.

Can I participate even if I live outside LIC?

Absolutely! LICPerks is open to anyone who wants to explore and support local businesses in Long Island City.

Is this a limited-time program?

LICPerks runs seasonally with the initial season running through September 30.
